^ Still doesnt explain the fact that his whole body is the same, whether it wants to attack him/ doesnt like him, his body is still the same everywhere.

The plot hole in my opinion is the break of the fusion inside Buu's body. It was made just to get to see Goku-Vegeta again and having a tough situation to face kid Buu. It can't be explained properly.

If Buu's body was handling Vegetto as a threat and broke the fusion, he should also drain Goku's Vegeta's powers. Why broke the fusion but allowed them to turn SSJ??

If Buu's body just didn't allow the fusion law, then it couldn't allow Gotenks fusion too.

In my opinion every explanation is incorrect. We should accept it was just Toriyama's decision to get Goku back.

Who's to say it wasn't a unique reaction to the Potara earings themselves? Bibidi probably did extensive research on the Kaioshin before creating Boo, since defeating them was his main objective. So he probably came across info on the Potara and built a defense into Boo's system just in case. Or perhaps he wanted a safeguard to keep Boo from getting too powerful to control. He probably didn't know about the fusion dance so Boo's body wouldn't have been programed to react to it at all.

Maybe there is difference between the fusion technique and potara fusion when it comes to inside of Super Buu's body.

Gotenks fusion lasted much longer in Majin Buu's body to provide Super Gotenks Buu and Vegito immediately de-fused. One is kai (Potara Fusion) and one non-kai (Fusion Technique aka Fusion Dance). So anything with Kai doesn't get effected in Buu's body but non-kai effects goes through.

I think that's wrong. Fat Majin Buu is the precise example of an absorbed Kai. Original Buu (kid Buu) absorbed all kais, losing power, becoming more pure and less evil as a result. So Kais actually effected Buu's body.

Well said.
One fusion isnt just singled out because its achieved by different means.

The only possible answer is that a fusion cannot exist inside of Buu's body other than in a pod absorbed.

Not much of a plot hole if you ask me. Not everything is going to be super logical but it's AT's logic which is important here.

Weren't Goten and Trunks in their own cacoons or whatever those things were when Vegeta and Goku found them? It's been a long time since I watched the Buu saga so I wouldn't know if the reason why they were in different cacoon or whatever was because the time of their fusion had ended or because Buu absorbed them. If it was because Buu absorbed them than that could explain that part but not how Buu kept his powers. But then again this was made in the 80's/90's plots weren't important back then as they are now, back then they just wanted the action to draw attention. Now it's where most things try to focus on plots a lot more, back then it was all about the action and the fighting.

Yeah Goten and Trunks were in separate pods because the fusion wore out. They were once in a single pod fused as Gotenks SSJ3.
And i know, i dont really care about plot holes at all but its just interesting picking them up :w00t:

So in Buu's pod your fusion works just the same as it normally would... Goten and Trunks defuse of their own doing... If Vegetto was in the pod he would still be in the pod forever because he is fused forever...

My point is that it's not reallya plot hole.. It's easily explained.. There aren;t many plotholes in Dragonball. People make too much of a hoopla about small issues..
